@scratchy996 "Finland is a fortress disguised as a country." - made my day, but that pretty much sums it up! :D I mean, just listen to their music which mostly is all kinds of heavy metal (absolutely brilliant BTW). You just don't wanna mess with those guys and while you don't they probably are some of the nicest and kindest people you could possibly find on the entire planet :D

@TJ Since it's an airframe that's completely different to the original Tu-22 ("Blinder"), the West thought it was designated Tu-26 (Why? Can't say, dunno), but through SALT in 1972, it's official designation of Tu-22M has been disclosed.

I'm having vivid memories of the Baltic Sea in Silent Hunter 2 and 3, even scraping the sea floor already at periscope depth in some rare cases. Don't attack anything that could drop depth charges, because you absolutely can't dive like at all. It's literally an ultrawide pond not particularly suited for submarine operations.
