Before watching this video I kept saying to myself: I can't believe that transgenderism is being normalized; I can't believe the notion that white power exists is normal; I can't believe that people are chanting that they want dead cops; I can't believe that old world religions are being destroyed (by the way, the Fascists and the Nazis tried that same tactic - they wanted to make politics and science the new religion); I can't believe that illegal trespassing over the U.S. borders is becoming normalized; I can't believe a lot of what is going on, but more than anything else, I CAN'T BELIEVE SOCIALISM IS BECOMING SO NORMAL THAT IT HAS INFILTRATED OUR GOVERNMENT. Now that I have seen this video, I know. The only way to keep a country strong is to strengthen its borders and to avoid outside, destabilizing infiltration, but it's too late. It's a shame that now only military force will bring an end to (and reverse) this poisonous, destructive ideology as introduced by the American left. Every Russian leader over the decades has undoubtedly been doing victory laps as they watched the results of their intent succeed one by one by one - and Putin? He's getting ready to smoke his victory pipe.

@septicalfrogs I don't think you understand how KGB psychological warfare worked. The KGB needed to find "receptors" in their enemy nation - they found them on the left because the American democrat party has been - at least in the last 50 years - more akin to socialism - they are both on the left of the ideological spectrum. Subversion started with the KGB influencing the American left, they were easy targets - but then it took off on its own, which is what the Soviet Union wanted. The American left and their increasingly socialistic agenda have, over the decades, hijacked schools, media, Hollywood, sports and have brainwashed an entire nation - even those on the right. Many of us are starting to wake up, but it seems to be too late. Besmenov even said that Russia would not have to lift a finger to destroy America. America would destroy itself. But those who allowed this to happen in America were the left - and Besmenov specifically states that.

@pyrokuda9743 the DESTRUCTION OF RELIGION is total manipulative political control. The political powers want us to look to them for answers because they want to be the ones to control us. How can they control us if we have our minds stuck on Jesus, or Moses, or other religious figures? The KGB knew that religious fervor is strong and they needed to break that spell so that they can claim total control of us - mind body and soul. Besmenov mentions this in the video. The Nazis and the Fascists did the same thing. I knew about this tactic not only because I'm a historian but because my parents went through this as children in Fascist Italy.

The left in America have adopted socialistic ideologies, which though different, shares characteristics with communism - they are the ones who are controlling education - indoctrinating the minds of our youth; they are controlling the media - they are ones who want to destroy religion. @kojak8403 Yes, but why on earth would Russia be happy to affect elections in the US? What would be their purpose, their goal? Wouldn't it be to subvert? Or to at least help the American left subvert the rest of us? It is uncanny that the left in America is becoming more radically left-wing - if Russia did meddle in the election, it was on the left, not on the right the way they are trying to make us and the world believe. The left are already halfway there - one more nudge and they are either completely socialist or downright communists. The reins are now in the hands of the American left to subvert the rest of us.

@Diogenes TheDog that is exactly what he is saying - that he was a part of the subversion. He said in an interview that his first assignment was India. The problems for him started when he fell in love with Indian culture and an Indian woman - that is a no-no when you are an undercover agent in a country you are supposed to help subvert. The KGB were out to get him. In an effort to defect he had to dress undercover as a hippie (wig, bell bottom pants and all). He fled to Canada. Years after this video (not sure exactly when) he disappeared. Was he killed by the KGB or did he flee again under a new identity and live an anonymous life? We may never know what happened.

@Grind121 Thank you for appreciating my post and for your input, but I have to say something: that conservatives have "over-enlarged egos and are disgustingly rich" is a liberal talking point - to dupe their voting base because what they want is to turn everyone into a victim, fighting against the rich and find socialism appealing. The truth is that both conservatives and liberals have 'disgustingly' rich people and both conservatives and liberals have poor people. The only difference between the two is that the conservatives refuse to create a crutch for people to lean on through welfare programs; the liberals, instead, not only create endless welfare programs but they allow rampant abuse (I know people on welfare - including a sister - so I'm not talking off the top of my head). The conservatives encourage success, the liberals creates victims. The liberal mentality (and I should specify: the liberal mentality from the right OR the left) is the one that Besmenov was referring to. We shouldn't allow politicians to gain a seat in government who encourage a victim mentality - these are the types of leaders who act like saviors. Their whole point is to encourage socialism. I am a conservative and for a while 20 years back, I was running around with nickels and dimes in my pocket book - eating bagels for breakfast, lunch, and dinner - asking friends for a loan to pay my rent because they were getting ready to throw me out of my roach infested apartment. A friend of mine suggested I go on welfare. I FLAT REFUSED - instead I looked for a job and took what was available. I worked hard over these past 20 years - made smarter choices and now I'm in a better place. Not rich at all - by any stretch of the imagination, but comfortable.

ashish singh - the first country Besmenov was sent to when he was part of the Soviet subversion system was India. That was his very first mission. When he fell in love with India and their culture - that's when he turned against the Soviet subversion system. But he couldn't stay in India - it would have been too dangerous - he had to defect and did so by disguising himself as a hippie with a long haired wig and hippie clothes and went to Canada.

It scares us because we are living the results of what he is saying. Back then it was just abstract reality. It wasn't a part of their lives. I was a young twenty something when this video was made and believe me, if I had heard this then, I would have reacted the same. To us back then America was a rock solid, unshakable powerful country incapable of being destroyed.

Socialism cannot survive alongside religion. Socialism knows that to the Christian, God is infallible and humans are not. The only way for them to avoid the threat of being overthrown in favor of a political faction that is more tolerant of religion, is to get rid of religion – namely Christianity. Socialism and the progressives are working hand in hand to ensure this. They are turning humanity upside down and inside out – men can be women, men can be pregnant, women can be men, don’t tell children what they are-let them decide if they want to be a boy or a girl; transgenderism; the non-binary movement; the “zhe” movement; late term (up to moment of birth) abortions; don’t say Merry Christmas; take God and the Commandments out of the courtrooms and so on and so forth – ad infinitum. They call it science (which, in reality is pseudo-science) – and it is becoming normalized; even legalized – it is the only way they can crush faith in God and Christianity, and drive people away from the Church. In all its beauty and all its ugliness, Christianity is who we are, so in essence they are destroying 2000 years-worth of western, Christian culture. At the same time, Europe and America are experiencing a very large influx of Islamic people, many of whom I truly believe are escaping danger zones in their own countries. There may be bad apples in their midst, I’m sure, but I truly believe that many are sincerely escaping danger. The problem??? While the Christian population in Europe and America is under threat of becoming increasingly smaller and smaller and smaller, the Islamic population is becoming bigger and bigger and bigger. Some may convert to Christianity, many won’t. This does not make them bad people. It just makes them steadfastly and resolutely religious. They hold tight to their nearly 1400 year old culture. In essence, they are doing what we should be doing with respect to our own faith. Unless there is a Christian revival; unless we stop Socialism and progressivism dead in their tracks, Christianity will be no more and Islam will be the majority. This will happen by consequence not by warfare. Then and only then will it become a battle between Socialism and Islam. Socialism is driven by science but nobody EVER laid down their lives in the name of science. We need to let this sink in.

@zantiszantis and @JC7171 - Were the two of you a part of Israeli and Chinese governments who were sent to us to subvert our culture? If so, what are the steps by which China and Israel are destroying our culture? I'm not looking for an analysis and interpretation based on what you hear and see in the news and the economic and political "goings-on" between these countries and the US and the world. I know ALL about that - and I'm very careful about media source news anyway. I'm talking about top secret, inside government information that these countries got YOU BOTH involved in to subvert our culture. Besmenov explained in detail the way the Russians did it. He knew it well because he was a part of that system until he turned against it and defected to the US to warn us. If the two of you are NOT a part of an Israeli or Chinese system with inside information (and I know you're not) then yours is just analysis and interpretation based on what you hear in the news that is going on in the world (rewind and listen to what Besmenov says about the media) Besmenov's warning is based on his direct experience AS A SUBVERTER until he turned against it, defected, and warned us.
