  2. @G0n3-BRZRK I love the movie The Birdcage!! But that's not a good comparison. The Birdcage was the story of a young straight couple who fell in love and wanted to get married. The comedic part of the story was trying to hide the boy's parents gay lifestyle from the girl's straight parents. To my recollection, not one of the main gay characters in the movie was really gay. They were all very famous straight actors playing gays. I have a gay friend and he told me that their interpretation was clearly exaggerated and over the top, but he loved the movie all the same. Part of the comedic brilliance of The Birdcage movie - in fact - was watching these straight actors play gays so darn convincingly.
