Good luck learning new skills at 37. By the time we reach 40 our capability to learn new stuff is greatly impaired. You're going to have to cope with things constantly changing, too - the future is low-code because nobody can keep up with so much complication and confusion and things constantly changing.

I wish 'how to download' videos would be kept out of programming tutorials. Keep them in a separate video for 'slow' people who don't know how to use Google.

What do you need Python for, now that you're retired?

Most employers are looking for a programmer with 10+ years commercial experience - no projects needed

The biggest mistake is using Python in the first place

If all you want to do is print out 1 to 10, isn't there a simpler way to do it?

@adiaphoros6842 I thought pythonic meant there is generally one way and not half a dozen ways of doing the same thing - which fills up the print with useless knowledge

You know that any tutorial that teaches you how to print 'hello world' isn't going to tell you anything about how to really use the language in real life.

With Python you should never write anything from scratch, always import

I don't blame you, it's really sh!t.

Good luck lol you're more likely to get a job waiting tables ... the boomers control all the jobs and they aren't giving a penny to the kids ... this is Generation Fucked - no money, no property, no hope and no future

@shindoxxx I would only get a Computer Science degree at 37 if I planned to remain a student for the rest of my life lol, by that age if you're not senior/management you're going to retire poor

@cainabel2009 You're wrong, just look at old people and tell me that their brains are predominantly 'plastic'. Some brain cells remain plastic well into advanced old age but clearly the majority do not. Else, try learning a new language when you are 90 and let us know how you get on.
