Plain HTML, CSS and JS? What a breath of fresh air
43
If you've already learned vanilla JavaScript and CSS, now you can enjoy learning to do the same things over again with TypeScript, the latest and greatest framework and a newer version of CSS. It never ends. I would not want to be a web developer.

It's a great market for employers, they can reduce wages while still getting top talent. That is why you will always see them encouraging more people to enter the market (keep on driving wages down).

@c1re-x9h So you just have a never-ending task of Googling newer ways to do things that you can already do instead of actually being creative..

I hope low-code is the future. It's a waste for people to have to learn how to use dozens of different programming languages. Automation FTW.

So Python, an object-oriented language, is written in C, which doesn't support objects? How is that possible lol? That's seriously impressive.

Personally I prefer to use FrontPage 2003 for my front end, classic ASP and VBScript for the backend. Internet Explorer 6 forever <3

It's quite challenging to have to keep learning new languages and keep redeveloping your code, too.
1
Is it really 'worth' that though

@duskyHeHe web dev definitely not for me. I’m not fierce enough. BTW the C programming language is basically the same as it was 50 years ago
