  1. As opposed to mass democracy, where the people vote for Biden or Trump - both of whom are equally useless? You wouldn't want a plumber or a lawyer who was the most popular, you'd want the one who was best at their work. Isn't government of a complex society something that requires skill, knowledge and ability rather than popularity?
