  1. Money is whatever people think it is. Gold and silver stopped being used as money in everyday transactions so long ago that only central banks accept it now. With that being said, gold's value is only going higher from here - but not to the extent BTC will. What's the advantage of holding some gold? It's very simple. You don't have to learn computer science. Remember that a lot of people are still hopelessly compute illiterate 30 years into the Internet age.
