Honestly they are not, if you do not rely on minions. I prefer sacrificing minions for buffs.

@Oxmosh Yea the resummons sucked in D2, D3 kinda made them a joke. I think they were going for the D2 summon experience. Some do need a buff as I said but not being able to tank bosses, that is a bit to far. Last Epoch summon builds do well and yet they do die butt do their job as well and are replaced just like in D4 as an example. I think Blizzard just overswung big time on some of the minion stuff.

Well the minion were a bit OP, well more than a bit, but they swung the nerf bat way to hard on them.

Necros are fine. People are complaining about low level content. Granted the minions could use a bit of a buff they overdid it other than that they are good.

@Oxmosh Nah, you can still keep some and they stay alive just fine. Especially the warriors. The reapers are for to weak as the the normal ones, I forget what they are called. The mages do just fine as well. So Blizzard has to balance 2 out of 4 choices so far. The skirmeshers and the reapers need some work still for sure. I have no clue about the later mage ones or the golems.

@H1storix When it was far to strong and your minions could tank the butcher like it was nothing? Granted they made some of the minions far to weak now but some are fine skirmishers and reapers suck, mages are fine so far. As are the armored ones.

@d2arelife That is what happens when blizzard makes them strong, people show it to them and complain. Blizzard swings the nerf bat hard.
