@sookibeulah9331 it can happen after 12 weeks (actually I think it may be 13 nowadays) but it’s not as easy in the second trimester as the first. And, yes, I agree with you about pressurisation - it absolutely shouldn’t happen. Present the facts, yes. Offer the options, yes. But mummy and daddy should have informed choice on going full term
1
@sookibeulah9331 I think, in 20-30 years time, that we’ll be lucky to have any nhs resources to use let alone abuse. And there are already children who are trying to stitch their parents up for the inheritance to be paid up front, not after the fact 🤦
1
@sookibeulah9331 🤷🏼 the hospital already did that to my mum. She was dying of her second round of breast cancer, only with no breasts to attack it had metastasised to her lungs and every bone in her body. They offered her sedation and for the last week of her life she never actually woke up so that she slowly died of organ failure rather than suffer for the sake of being compos mentis
1
@sookibeulah9331 🤔 so you would wish my mother’s death had been worse?

The media has been determined to get rid of Sunak from the moment he came into power. Drumming up support in a mud slinging will always attract the dregs

Filler words can become a very annoying bad habit but they give the speaker time they collect their thoughts. If you think upon how much Candice has grown in the last couple of years, I’m sure you’ll allow her a little tolerance. But, yes, she does need to do something about the habit. Right has to be preferable to you know though, if nothing else, she could look to widen the scope . There is, after all, a catalogue of possible alternatives.

You wouldn't be the only one

Instead of investing in childminders, the government should be paying women (or one of the parents but women do tend to be better at the job) to stay home and look after their own children. It would save so many issues further down the line.
1
@williamvorkosigan5151 so the middle class mum stays at home. The working class grandma gets lumbered because the working class mum cannot afford to stay home and the working class kid misses out. Admittedly the working class kid often misses out but this way three generations are disadvantaged.
1
@williamvorkosigan5151 let’s not forget that the reason most married women work is because the standard of living these days is such that it cannot be supported on a single wage. Removing women from the labour market with no income whatsoever will simply result in a fall in demand leading to a fall in manufacturing leading to closures leading to higher prices and falling standards of living. Great idea 👍

Excellent bargain

We do enjoy a good pun. That said the British love of language would instil the phrase with at least three different meanings so I’m sure yours would feature 😁
1
Because mopping floors and emptying bins has been stigmatised as unaspirational, demeaning, but having control over who gets access to your ha’penny is seen as empowering to the modern woman. 🤔 I bet it was a man who came up with that idea
1
@vivienneb6199 utter rubbish, climb down off your socialist pedestal and get an education instead of trolling the internet
1
@vivienneb6199 utter rubbish
1
@vivienneb6199 yeah, I've seen that poverty at work - nothing in the cupboard to put on the table whilst watching Netflix on the 40" TV standing in the corner or surfing to internet on any of the 3 different computers in the house, playing on the x-box or one of two Gameboy, all whilst sitting nose glued to a mobile phone. Yeah, seen that and got no sympathy.
1
@josephivan5094 honeybunch I don't have heating in my house because I can't afford it. My heating system is a hot water bottle. My coat is probably older than you are. Don't try to lecture me on not being able to afford it!
1
@FirstLast-rh9jw socialism only works in the minds of the young 🥴
1
Well we all knew this was coming didn't we? Can someone please introduce the morons to Ewa Zajączkowska-Hernik ripping Ursula von der Leyen a new one in the European parliament debate.
1
@FlanaFugue RINOs don't count. He may have had the support of the people but the party was a different matter. To all intents and purposes, I pretty much despised Trump at that point. And I pretty much hated what he did, particularly in the first year. I listened too well to the propaganda. That did not stop my being appalled at the lack of support he got in his job.
1
Can we not forget that we farmed all our manufacturing out to China in order to reduce our carbon footprint.
1
@Ro-ho7bc 🤦 their deaths were cold blooded, not their bodies 🙄
1
@tomwright9904 if the court had protected the children involved, as requested, there would have been no reason to.
1
@KimThomas-vp4vm neither is TR anywhere near far right nowadays. I'm not particularly sure he ever was, whether his dealings brought him in contact with other groups who were or not. Mind you, given our current PM's redefinition of the term, even I am far right these days 🤷
1
@Antonia-t3p 🤔 I thought I heard him say Stephen Yax... aka as ...
1
@tomwright9904 not very restrictive is not the same as justified. And NO is pretty restrictive by my definition.
1
@doriangray6985 if the EMC brings equality over equity, then yes.
1
@cuebj it’s not that there are no whites wanting to be doctors but that the government has put a limit on how many training places are available so that the numbers have to be met by those diversity hires. Thus depleting the services of their home countries.
1
@Shrulik not really. All that succeeds in doing is placating the Muslim contingent and giving them free rein to extend their ghettos. The UK is not an outpost of Iran!
1
@Shrulik actually that's what is destroying everything British. The UK is not and never should be an islamic outpost. There is more to this world than Islam.
1
And there we go, typical woke argument for discrimination. What a surprise. Do you seriously think that there aren't any nonwhite females with an oar in the game 🤨
1
@anthonydowney6069 🤷♀️ they're all staff members so I guess it came down to who was available.
1
Take it far enough and reversion cannot happen at all. There is no biological repair for a mastectomy or castration. Puberty blocker therapies s are just about impossible to reverse. This is child abuse and should be recognised as such.
1
When I was a child the science, and its vacuous practitioners, said that we were heading for an imminent ice age. Yeah, like that happened! But what it/they did do was stir up fear. Same idiots, same issue. The difference then though, the reason why it didn't bring the world to near collapse then, no mobile phones & no internet 🤷
1
They say ’if you can’t beat ‘em, join ’em’. It seems they couldn’t beat us even whilst turning us black and blue!
1
You only have to live in the UK to realise that the climate is in constant flux. It always has been and it always will be. Trying to stop the change is like trying to stop the tide and Canute has already proven that a mere man, even one with a crown, cannot do that. With a growing global population we need the extra co2 to produce extra food. We also need to plant extra trees, to replace those lost through deforestation, to absorb the extra pollution and to recycle that extra co2. We need to stop stripping the land of its life, before it becomes so depleted that it produces nothing of nutritional value, and employ regenerative farming techniques that increase production. Man cannot live by rock alone 🙄 Then we need to grow more animals to make use of land that cannot be utilised for planting. At the same time we need to realise that plant production is actually more resource hungry than raising animals. That combining arable with pastoral farming is not only good for the land, it's good for us PLUS it's good for the planet.

@rocketpig1914 exactly

In like manner, the Muslims have Mohamed and, in a way, the Catholics their Mary. We should strive to find a way for these superheroes to bring us together, not drive us apart. The Ecumenical Church brings Christian communities together. Well now we need bigger hearts to bring all faiths together so that we can truly live side by side. And, yes, that needs include the atheists and agnostics.
1
@VincentRE79 whoever comes first in the poll cannot be worse than the idiot just ousted or the bumbler who preceded him. I’m just not sure Liz has the strength of character necessary to bring us back from the brink. What’s worse is that there is not enough strength in the house to support her if she fails.
1
@MarkRE333 the only problem with the community charge was the media led revolt. The gutter press led the population around by the nose for months on this. As a replacement for the old rates it was way way better than the system we have in place now that they made not a mutter about.
1
@VincentRE79 the unions priced them out of the market
1
It might be the best thing that could ever happen to reform
1
If you have RINOs in the republican party, do you have DINOs in the democrat party 🤔 couldn't these two groups get together and form a third party. That, at the very least, would tear down the obvious bias of the MSM and give all candidates a fair crack of the whip 🤷 maybe
1
She's been getting voice coaching
1
But prices were low in line with low wages. Raise wages and prices are going to have to go up to cover the bill.
1
But the claim is that they're talking about recent history not ancient
1
At last someone with a sensible take on kids getting on the housing market
1
The last issue was the election announcement on 23 May 🤔 is Freddie on leave perhaps?
1
It's not Britain, or not just, it's the entire West
1
@CH-et4go I do not need to belong to a cult to know that man simply isn't as all encompassingly important as he apparently thinks he is. Neither do I have to be brainwashed by the current fashionable panic brigade. It's been tried before, except last time it was the next ice age, and was shown then to be nothing more than hot air and, really, we have enough hot air going around from the planet's own cycles without having to shelter from yours.
