  2. When I lived in Washington State I got $700 from FEMA when we had an earthquake in 2001. I got a crack in the stucco on my house. I live in Georgia now and the power was out for 4 days during Hurricane Helene and I received nothing.

  3. My mom cannot afford her home insurance. She's on a fixed income and her house is paid off. It's her own fault though because she spent her retirement money from working for a pharmaceutical company on vacations in New Zealand and South America and thought she would be okay on her social security. She's too hard headed to move into senior subsidized housing.

  4. I'm pretty sure that's a rumor and not true. That would devastate the economy even more. I'm on the SafeLink free cell minute plan, low cost internet, and I have the state insurance and I'm not worried. Trump wants a Republican to win in 2028 so it wouldn't make sense for him to do that.
