  1. Portugal is super-safe, very pleasant This manifests itself so many ways! I can leave a €7K Mountain bike outside a cafe. I can buy a motorcycle or SeaDoo without worrying all the while .. “will some thug steal it ?” It’s a special place to live. My girlfriend can walk across Lisbon, or any Portuguese town at night You don’t need to worry about making “eye contact“ with some aggressive person (as you might when travelling on the London tube or walking on a New York sidewalk) These things are important.
