  2.  @towaritch  it does ! Sadly … My teenage children (live in Warwickshire with my ex) laughed aloud when they repeatedly saw the “hammer and sickle on Political posters in Portugal! They know how much their dad despises socialism and found the presence of socialist/communist parties in their fathers new home country, to be a source of much ridicule and hilarity. The political system was used in the Soviet Union since 1923. It’s now discredited… but some Portuguese (quite a few actually) think it’s a great idea to solve their (basket case ) economy!
