  2. I agree with much of your post. However there are two big errors. (i) Like many people , you make the mistake of perceiving Capetown to be safer than Johannesburg! This used to be the case, but thanks to improving policing , cctv and other initiatives, Johannesburg is now safer (statistically ) than Capetown. (Both frightening though !!) (ii) It’s still worth visiting for a vacation. Kruger, the Wine lands and other beautiful areas. You are totally mistaken if you think it’s not worth visiting these areas.
