  1. The Bahamas ? Mmm, perhaps not since Covid Andrew. It’s changed a great deal! Utterly disappointing now, crime increasing (it was never safe ) most restaurants closed and a very intimidating atmosphere everywhere.

  2. SMB Grand Cayman takes some beating ! Nelson’s harbour Antigua is perfect for sailors. The Algarve is worthy of consideration too … particularly if you enjoy surfing.

  12. You make a good point. However (i) the benefit compared to the Mediterranean, for example, is that you have playful waves and (ii) in Summer, the seas inside the Ria Formosa, do warm up to acceptable levels.
