  1. Central Algarve in Portugal is truly excellent for English speakers !! (Not east or west Algarve !… but the centre ) It’s almost expected (given there are so many English speakers resident here !) Socially it’s very good, with plenty of Americans/Dutch Italians and French. Very sociable.
