  2. I’d do it the other way round. Winter in Ireland (where homes are properly constructed, heated and Insulated) and you can hike / spend lunchtimes in the pubs …. Then Summer in Portugal , surfing and eating outside! Winter in Portugal sucks!

  3. I work with a lot of Irish people. They are utterly fabulous. Well educated, intelligent, witty and utterly lovely to be around. However, Ireland itself, is a disappointment. Why do I say that ? I spent a lot of time touring the West of Ireland, but I largely wasted my time ! I regret it. I arguably, should have gone to Scotland, that has much more intensity to it’s scenery and history. Ireland doesn’t compare. Don’t bother with Ireland for a vacation, go straight to Scotland.

  5. I do like the fact that there are so many nationalities here in Portugal. Whether you enjoy Golf/Tennis/dirt motorcycles/cycling/ hiking or just a fitness(sports club membership) you will find new friends amongst the British, German, Dutch, French and Scandinavian members. It’s such a wonderful mix. (The Portuguese aren’t bad either 😂)

  10. May I just clarify the thing about Portugal being tax free for Crypto …. It’s not tax free if you actively trade crypto. It’s only “tax free” if you have crypto gains. (Not active traders )

  12.  @orlandogonzalezarias6123  Orlando … thanks for your post … but May I claim; that it’s a tad misleading? High net worth people are not going to drive from Portugal to France! It’s over 1000km from Portugal, and a very dull drive to boot! (At least, until you get to the Pyrenees) Who is going to do that ? Most vacations would involve flying and renting a car.

  14. You make a good point ! I have a two friends there. Ps I heard that the F1 drivers live in Monaco, but the Moto GP (motorcycle racers ) who earn 10% of the F1 men … choose Andorra. It’s a beautiful place to live and easy to commute for work / business.

You try and contradict. The truth is you don’t know. You don’t even live here, your claims would be laughed at by every Portuguese tax adviser or accountant. You’ve contributed nothing to the channel other than incorrect nonsense.
