  1. Portugal has some very smart young people. Portugal could do so well, with pharmaceuticals, software, telecoms, crypto etc .... but no... they are stuck in the past. Insufficient investment in universities and a crazy fascination with “old “ earners such as port, olives oranges and cork. Utter madness imho.
