  4. I don’t fly the 787, but many friends who do, are somewhat critical of it. The argument is, amongst others, that it’s not “built as well” as say the 777 was. Many of them claim, that they can’t see it lasting 30 or 40 years as other Boeing models did. It’s arguably heartbreaking. Add in the “737 max” issues and it’s hard to see how Boeing can survive this crisis. I hope it does. I admire the engineers and managers there.

  5. A ridiculous claim that ignores the fact that the airframe burns more fuel “to carry fuel”. Yes the A350 and 787 carbon structures significantly extend the vialbility of long this routes. However, they don’t actually change the laws of physics.The video is misleading in that respect.
