  1. Len ! I don’t mean to be rude … but you have this argument upside down ! The Tesla “frameless “ doors are simpler and easier to make. The drawbacks include potential wind noise issues. I was very aware of this with early model S cars. However I’m pleased to see Tesla have solved this. The fit of the glass has much higher integrity than six years ago. BMW have copied Tesla with this design of door . Why? It now works well and is cheaper to make.
