@ProkofNY i am native black, and well aware of the discrimnation suffer by hispanics.
1. I am familar with Dr Ladson-Billings work, it is essential in understanding the difference between equality and equity in education which translates well to my field, industrial settings.
2. Bias training removes the "I did not know I was being biased" excuse, however changes in individual attitudes, is the least critical aspect of bias elimination. Its great if it happens, and makes actors behavior ring truer, but non-bias behavior is the goal, regardless of private attitude, we are not looking for kumbayah but non-biased performance to a non-bias standard.
3. most altered behavior results from incentives, disincentives, and process change; which includes equity items as suggested by Dr. Ladson-Billings research into educational equity, for instance bilingual instruction for non-native employees and client/customers; removing culturally bias test for employment and promotion, increases diversity without sacrificing service.
4. CRT successfully includes all of the above in its bias elimination efforts.
