What is important is how much russia is (or rather isn't) getting paid for it. They are having to produce just to survive, and are making nothing from it in real terms. This is exactly where we want them.... they are still supplying the world where necessary, thus minimising global impact, but making no profit from it.

  6.  @goforitrazz  Canada are talking about stopping the export of gas to the USA (due to Trump's comedy tariffs) and sell to Europe directly. Would make a LOT of sense, though US industry would be in big trouble, but who cares? They are not a trustworthy ally anyway.

  10. I did see recent footage of a massive shopping centre in Moscow and it was desolate; it's carparks almost empty. Didn't look like a healthy economy to me.
