  1. No. That is not what russia says. russia, specifically General Gerasimov in the footage they released, said very publicly that the invaders had been completely destroyed and defeated. He said it straight to putin's face in footage that was released to the entire world, with Shoigu sitting at the same table. If it was not true then it is a huge public humiliation for all of them.
