  1. As a non-American I have a question. To anyone viewing outside the US, Trump is a horrific, hateful candidate that will do only harm to the US. Pretty obvious really. So why is he even polling 48%. I cannot believe that many of the US voters are OK with him or that dumb. Is it the case they have no choice as Republicans because he is the candidate and they need to just live with it? I guess put simply, I am asking if under the US system do voters stick to their party of choice regardless of how incompetent and disliked the presidential candidate was? Or am I to believe 48% of the American voters are.... how do I put it.... ill-informed and ignorant?
