For those puzzled by Russia's claim that their retreat was planned when they left so much equipment behind, the explanation is simple. Russia knows its equipment is garbage and poorly maintained, hence the more of it they can unload onto the Ukrainian army, the weaker the Ukrainian army becomes. This ingenious tactic is called "Cunning Ivan".

@timmiekat6072 The nice thing about all this is that Russia have just exposed to the entire world (including themselves) how crap their military (and its tactics) actually are. NATO and the West will never fear the Russia conventional military again; they are an absolute joke compared to the Western military.

No peace negotiations with compulsive liars, until they have been humiliated and crushed to the point they are begging for peace for any terms the Ukrainians care to mention. Any other negotiation under any other circumstance with Russians is utterly pointless.
