  1. I have always said it is a mistake to judge Ukraine's progress to victory in this war in terms of military results. It isn't and never could be when russia has population of the size it has and does not give a damn how many of them die. Instead it is about making it economically impossible for russia to sustain the war at all and thus force them to withdraw or collapse internally. And judged in those terms, this is no stalemate, Ukraine is blazing to victory and accelerating with every refinery hit.
