  1. Gender studies BY FAR. A degree in Taylor Swift (which is apparently a thing) is more useful than a degree in Gender Studies. In fact Gender Studies has only one useful purpose, it means you can put the CV straight in the bin without reading any further - saves lots of time (and pain). And yes I am a senior recruiter for a global company. There are certain colleges whose graduates' CVs go in the bin immediately as well. Mostly the woke-supporting places that practice trying to censor free speech of anyone they disagree with. You all know the colleges I mean. Graduates of colleges like that are utterly useless in the real world, and as a recruiter, I won't touch them.
