  41. The list of everything russia has lost due to this invasion is simply catastrophic. Some of the main items being: 1) Large number of extremely significant international companies stopped doing business and moved out. They will never return. 2) Massive brain-drain of the country's most talented people (knock on effect of (1)) 3) Complete loss of international investment, likely never to return. Plus of course vast sums of their existing money seized and frozen in overseas banks, likely to be used for reparations. 4) Complete loss of their EU fossil fuel market. Pre-war, 86% of russia's fossil fuel exports were going to EU and its allies, and that represents 64% of russia's total exports. Gone forever. 5) Mobilzation took 700k of the most productive people out of the economy when it could least afford to lose them. (About to be repeated?) 6) West can feel justified in continuing and increasing their sanctions, crippling the economy further. The longer the war goes on the tighter they can strangle. Even the Kremlin advisors stated it will take them 40+ years to get back to where they started economically. 7) Complete humiliation and loss of reputation of the previously feared Russian military. Now a laughing stock. 8) Complete loss of reputation for the country itself. Now thought of as the Nazis of the modern era with their own modern-day Hitler; a reputation they will likely never lose. 9) NATO countries were galvanized and NATO came together in great strength and unity when they had kind of drifted apart. No one expected that. 10) Potentially multiple new countries applying to join NATO, most of them right on russia's border, united in their fear, distrust and outright hatred of russia. 11) Russian arms industry in tatters after they demonstrated to the world just how garbage their weapons actually are. In fact it is now mandatory for all Russian-made weapons to have a label stamped on them that reads "Warning: Not suitable for use against NATO weapons." 12) They have been stripped of the right to use the capital 'R' in their country name which must now be written as "russia" by all inhabitants of the Earth, except putin who must instead use the word "knobland" to refer to his motherland (no capital 'K' though, it's forbidden). 13) They will never be able to buy a MacDonald's again in their country - a restaurant described by the more discerning russian foodies as "the classiest place to eat in Moscow".
