@CyberBeep_kenshi Scotland renewables (wind and hydro) now produces over 100% of what we use. Of course we have to feed the UK power grid, but still.... Go Scotland!

The war is about to get a LOT more expensive for the people. As the coffers run out, russia will switch to stealing from the people (and russia companies) via tax more and more and more. Enjoy what you voted for, russia.

Agreed. They had the perfect customer, no need to worry about competition and 10 to 20 years to milk them for absolute, guaranteed reliable profit before the switch to renewables etc. AND THEY BLEW IT. putin has to be the dumbest world leader in recent memory.

Yes I remember all those TV ads they did boasting about the luxury of heating in russia while the EU was a frozen wasteland lacking precious russian fuel. How the tables have turned. Now russia cannot supply fuel for itself never mind the EU, Gazprom is doomed, and last winter we saw endless footage of russian homes frozen solid. This winter it will, be MUCH worse for them too.
