  5. America has dominated world trade since 1945 and exploited everyone else to become the richest country in the world. It's high time that dominance ENDED. So from one point of view, what Trump is doing is good for everyone (other than America obviously) in the long-term. International investment is also shifting away to the rest of the world where stability is the most important thing. This tariff farce might be a blessing in disguise for the rest of the world. Americans have been effectively far richer than everyone else on the planet. This is a balancing act. It's over for them but the world is the oyster for everyone else right now.

  7. One thing no one mentions is that with manufacturing comes a ton of pollution to manage. I hope the US is ready for its cities to experience 24hr smog like China's do. SO yeah Trump is trying to bring tons of crappy jobs and pollution to the US while making everything cost more in the process. Lose-lose-lose. What a dummy.
