Lord of the Rings is incredibly diverse in its own right: men, elves, dwarves, orcs, eagles, hobbits, ents and all sorts. No need to lay the real world's twisted version of diversity on top of that rich tapestry.

Or as I call them: The Victim, Apache Attack Helicopter, Touched by Grandad, Free-speech? and Land-Whale. And did they not see the irony in calling the villain Reality?

To Rian Johnson: to take a much-beloved thing and ruin it for everyone by 'subverting expectations'. To Chris Chibnal: to take a much-beloved thing and ruin it for everyone by making it an SJW borefest

464 now. I guess that means there will be a sequel.

Doctor Who ended for me when Capaldi rode into a medieval court playing a guitar on top of a tank.

At least we know that cake and pie makers have probably done just fine throughout these lockdowns.
4
Now witness the firepower of this fully operational boycott...
4
There is something hilariously inept and ludicrous about Natalie Portman dressed in a Thor outfit.
4
Rey has one character flaw: really big man calves
4
This film was utter shit. Just like Get Out.
4
Being able to close her mouth would be a character arc for Rey, and we can't have that.
3
You are quite wrong about Knives Out, but Glass Onion was indeed crap.
3
Please refer to this series by its preferred title "Nurse Who".

I can see Robert Duvall as Quint. Different but still interesting. But Charlton Heston as Brodie? I think we dodged a bullet there. Anyway, my Dad took me to see this on original release. I was 8. Had nightmares for weeks afterwards. It was Ben Gardner's spring-loaded head that did it, not the shark. I still get nervous re-watching Jaws when that scene approaches, even now viewing near 50 years later. And it puts Jaws up there with the Wizard of Oz (several years earlier) as the two films that hit me hardest in the nightmares dept when I was very young. (That witch!). Quick footnote: The editing in this movie is great. That scene where Brodie browses the shark attack books is a masterclass.

Well in terms of the gravitas and acting ability required to play the Doctor, Jodie is indeed a midget.

Now I know who ate all the pies....the ginger.

Or put another way, "Never trust a bastard that doesn't drink."

KotM was awesome and yer taste is right up yer arse. And Godzilla's been up to no good because it's Mechagodzilla in disguise. (Similar plot to 1974's Godzilla versus Mechagodzilla movie). And Skull Island Kong was a baby, they even say so in that movie; he's grown up in this one. Finally, Godzilla has had plenty of different origins in the Toho movies, not just the atomic bomb allegory. Did you do no research whatsoever? :P
2
Similar story here, though I stopped caring before any murder had actually happened. I stayed to the end though. Bad decision.
2
I had to google who Amy Schumer was. She should play the frog.
2
Did you watch the "reboot" in 2010, Mystery Incorporated. It was wonderful. Fantastic animation and expanded on the characters, in a good way.
2
I got this on Steam recently for nostalgia, and it is actually terrible. The controls are awful. Not sure if it's a bad port or what but jeez. Couldn't play more than an hour.
2
Kevin Smith lost all credibility when he raved about The Force Awakens.
2
Because she cannot act.
2
I found it very average. And the guy who played Huey turned out to be a complete arsehole, which was very off putting.
2
Dream Casting: Ruby Rose to play Justin Bieber (age 15) in his life story movie.
2
Nice b**bs. Bad series. That is all.
2
Females were strictly gatherers in the Comanche hunter/gather society. Sorry lefties, blame history, not me. Predators wouldn't give them a second thought. This will be a woke mess, calling it now.
2
@Saint17996 No but I have the internet and I can research. And how dare you accuse me of sniffing ether.
2
Quit when you're ahead I guess.

I have no interest in Disney products any more. They have nothing I want
1
Throwing up on a night out is simply an indicator that you are now ready for more booze.
1
Kirsten Stewart is just so very bland. She can therefore only play bland. She will basically never be able to play any character ever, except Bella, because Bella is super bland.
1
I think this movie is excellent. Nothing quite like it.
1
The Space Triangle is my favourite Quality Street. And the pubic triangle is my favourite part of Edinburgh.

0:40 Is the girl on the left a vampire?
1
I thought it was OK. Loads of aspects of the games crammed in from characters to locations to creatures etc. But last movie I saw in the cinema was Longlegs, so after that almost anything would have seemed decent, even Trap. Actually scratch that, not Trap.
1
Klinski has the most insane-looking human face I've ever seen. Of you ever had to pick the psycho out of a crowd of 1000 men, I'd pick him every time.
1
I want to watch this, but I cannot take another minute of Galadriel. Easily the most poorly written, acted and casted character I've ever seen, in *anything*.
1
When you barf in a mate's flat, do it behind the curtains. By the time he finds it, it could have been anyone at any time. Hasn't failed for me yet.
1
My auld Granny always used to say.... Never trust a bastard who eats their steak well-done. Advice that has served me well over the years.

Every single little thing they changed from the books for the LotR trilogy detracted from it. Every single one. Anyways, there are some fantastic stories and set-pieces in the Silmarillion, so there's hope. I for one would like to see a battle that involves 1000 Balrogs.
1
Let them burn
1
The LotR was awesome, but it still did contain shit bits. And guess what? Every one of those shit bits were the things they changed from the book or added. And indeed every single thing they changed or added was shit, without exception. Along comes the Hobbit trilogy where the amount of changes and additions is through the roof in comparison to LotR and again, every one of those changes and additions was shit. Simple maths. I've watched LotR from start to finish many times now, yet I will likely never watch any of the Hobbit movies a second time; no way I could get through them again.
1
You are insane. Sucker Punch is a masterpiece.
1
I like some of the visuals here tbh, but certainly not the young boy they have playing Snow White. He is utterly loathsome. Diversity casting I guess.
1
I've heard people hail the lesbian kiss as extremely progressive. Then I thought....wasn't Hammer films in the early 70s pioneering in the lesbian kiss department (Vampire Lovers etc). For the titillation of men of course. Yeah...progressive.
1
I have a fam. And just like Jodie's, they are all pointless assholes. Also, while I'm here....worst....Master....ever.
1
The main problem with series 1 was they cast someone who looked as much like a woman as I do (not much). Had they cast an actual woman instead of a teenage boy, it might have worked.
1
I am also that friend. And I've done all that shit i my own house many times. Share the wealth.
