  2. Here's a thought. The force Ukraine managed to muster for the Izyum push was not a few random opportunists jumping out of defensive bunkers. This was a large, well-armed, well-organised force. That doesn't happen by accident. It needs to be planned, organised and above all mustered in the theatre of war. AND RUSSIA DIDN'T NOTICE. They had not one single idea anything was happening up there until it happened. This alone gives stark indication of the appalling quality of Russia's intel. Intel, as well as motivation, is what wins a war. It's going to be like Mike Tyson fighting a blind man.

  9. Looking at the expected % change for 2023 in isolation is absolute nonsense. Look at the total size against population as well. The UK's gdp is 50% bigger than russia's ($3.4 trillion versus $2.1 trillion) for a much smaller population. So basically even if the predictions are correct, a -0.6% drop against $4.3t, is MUCH better than a +0.3% rise against $2.1t. Baffling that people are being so dumb about this.

  27. I don't think the debunking of the voice recording has any more credibility than the recording itself had. People are either going to believe that one or they aren't. The rest seems pretty damning though.
