Here's a thought. The force Ukraine managed to muster for the Izyum push was not a few random opportunists jumping out of defensive bunkers. This was a large, well-armed, well-organised force. That doesn't happen by accident. It needs to be planned, organised and above all mustered in the theatre of war. AND RUSSIA DIDN'T NOTICE. They had not one single idea anything was happening up there until it happened. This alone gives stark indication of the appalling quality of Russia's intel. Intel, as well as motivation, is what wins a war. It's going to be like Mike Tyson fighting a blind man.
