  1. Looking at the expected % change for 2023 in isolation is absolute nonsense. Look at the total size against population as well. The UK's gdp is 50% bigger than russia's ($3.4 trillion versus $2.1 trillion) for a much smaller population. So basically even if the predictions are correct, a -0.6% drop against $4.3t, is MUCH better than a +0.3% rise against $2.1t. Baffling that people are being so dumb about this.
