  1. Any decent judge, on hearing that threat to himself, would have called him back and given him 300 days in jail. This was a grossly lenient sentence. Perjury carries a max sentence of 5 years. "If I did this, it means that I stuck my fist in the fears of Black Americans and the LGBT community...". I agree 100%. Only truthful thing he said.

  5. Of course he isn't suicidal. Why would he be when he's just been given a stupidly lenient sentence for what he did? He's celebrating. He will come out of jail a hero, ready to sell his book rights and make a fortune. No doubt he will be a great inspiration to others to try the same stunt. I'd like to see what a white guy who did this would have gotten as a sentence....
