  1. The root of the problem is that all the money was spent on "Covid relief" which allows everyone to give up work. A smart government would allocate such relief only when certain sectors of the workforce absolutely could NOT work (e.g restaurant staff during lockdown). Otherwise, you lose your basic workforce who can now afford to stay home.
