  1. People WERE hurt by this. Every cop that spent time on this case was not helping others who genuinely needed help. And him refusing the accept the guilty verdict should result in an appeal from the prosecution for a tougher sentence. It would in the UK. As it is now, raising his fist and crying innocence, he is poised to make a fortune from the film and book rights. This is a huge miscarriage of justice.

  2. A shockingly short jail sentence. This will inspire others to try the same thing, no question. 150 days in jail is well worth the risk, given the amount of cash you can make if you get away with it.
