  1. A character being gender swapped does not mean a work is automatically woke, it just means it is automatically stupid, and thus not worthy of my attention. The funny thing is the stupidity only really presents itself when the swap is to the white race. Example: would we ever see a white Shaft? No. It would be stupid. So in summary, what are the benefits of gender-swapping a character? No idea. The drawbacks? It makes fans feel you disrespected the source material and you thus lose money. I will only watch this if it's free.

  2. I just thank God that The Lord of the Rings movies were made in a time before all this woke shyte. I mean yes, we have to put up with the farce of Arwen and numerous stupid character changes that lessened the works (Faramir and Denethor specifically), but think what it could have been. Bullet dodged.
