What trigger or permission is required for the process to start? ffs start it before it's too late. In any other country Biden would be court-martialled (he's head of the US military) and probably in jail by now. In Afghanistan he'd likely be beheaded by now.

  20. I've been saying all along Bahkmut is a huge plot to lure the russians into attacking there determinedly for months, keeping their strongest forces away from places that matter. Zalenskyy went public saying Bahkmut was the lynch-pin of their eastern defence etc, when any quick look at a map would tell you this was no longer the case after the big pushes Ukraine made last year. Zalenskyy was criticised for drawing attention to the city like this but on retrospect it seems it was actually a very cunning plan to get the russians to expend huge volumes of resource on a town that is really worth nothing to them. And they are still there, still trying, making the plot even more successful. Nice move.
