I often wonder what "winning" would look like. Russia takes Donbas and then what? The sanctions will never ever be lifted - and in fact can easily be turned up to much higher than where they are now (currently only impacting 25% of Russian exports) - while they remain in the country, and their economy will simply collapse. How is that winning? They cannot win basically, they can either lose quickly and move on or lose very slowing and have no future.
