@1993alik There are no NATO nukes anywhere near russia's border. Apart from submarines, which I'm sure russia has the equivalent parked near the US. So your comparison is ludicrous. If we are talking about conventional forces, then the US would have no control over russia parking forces in Mexico. Thing is, the US has good relations with its neighbours and doesn't invade them, so it would never happen. Newsflash: any country in the world (apart from russia) has the right to apply to join NATO. Their geographic location is none of russia's business. And if the applicants tend to be located near russia, GUESS WHYTHEY WANT TO JOIN NATO? FEAR OF rUSSIA.

He is completely and utterly wrong. He has no right to dictate who can join NATO. And if NATO applicants happen to be near his borders, it is because they are AFRAID OF HIM. This is not a Western plot to encroach russia's borders, as he claims; it is simply the natural reaction to russia's aggression (over many many years). He is bringing it on himself. The West does not give a crap about a 3rd world sh!thole like russia (except when they are out of line). THAT is what Putin doesn't realise.
