  1. This is the spearhead of the main counter-offensive. A decent-size probing counter-attack to make russia choose to either lose tons of ground (and thus morale) or re-enforce Bakhmut NOW, hence drawing plenty of russian troops well away from where the real counter-offensive will shortly begin.
