He tried to use Nazis as an excuse to sell his SMO to his population, then when that didn't gell, he upped the ante via the russian Orthodox church and called them "gay, satanic Nazis". When everyone just laughed at that, he dialled back and stop playing the Nazi card altogether. So not only was this just russia propaganda, but it is stale and expired russian propaganda.
