  1. "D-words": I loved that! "Full democracy in Britain is only a century old.". It's a fact and one that I easily forget. That said, the UK does not FEEL like a democracy in 2024. That is utterly depressing. We witnessed the assault on populism, on the people, by the government reaction to the so-called "riots" after the Southport murders of three little girls and the horrible injuries inflicted on others. "Chain of QUANGOs": I would use a more disparaging term than "chain". I really liked Dr. Starkey's analysis of the disastrous handling of the Covid situation by the "experts". So much for "following THE science". Dr. Starkey's closing discussion of the power of woke is frightening. As is the dreadful Starmer himself.
