  1. I look at the most prominent politicians in the UK and I despair. They simply do not share my principal values, reverences and concerns. Starmer, Lammy. I cannot comment politely about them as people, as human beings. Lammy despises patriotism. He thinks the UK should pay reparations to West Indian countries, just for starters. He thinks Henry VII was a possible successor to Henry VIII. I AM terrified by the prospects. On a more positive note, the election of President Trump will hopefully bring remedies to the UK. He is showing how to draw back the curtain on the horrors of the woke conspiracy.

  2. "Everything in England" is ugly. It's horrible to realise the truth of that. Actually "part truth" really. Dr. Starkey cited the beauty of York and other places.

  3. "We are all rooted in our cultures.". Absolutely! It's a pity that it needs to be pointed out.👍 It's very noticeable to me that Dr. Starkey has opinions that resonate with mine. I am slightly older than him. For example, much as I idolised Queen Elizabeth II, I have no affinity at all with "The Commonwealth". I am most definitely English, NOT British.

  4. Dr. Starkey, I am English, a bit older than you and was taught History at primary school and secondary school. I would like now to re-learn what I have forgotten. Please can you recommend a good book that covers the "broad sweep" of English history?
