It’s because they want it to sound robotic. It’s a tactic. If they sound uninterested & robotic reading it off the card, it subconsciously sends the message that this doesn’t really matter all that much. See how boring it is the way I’m reading it. Don’t bother paying attention, this is just some silly procedure we have to do with everyone since you’re in police custody. The internet is perfectly safe, stop being nosy. Theres absolutely no reason you should be checking up on or lurking around your children’s internet activities. To be frank it’s none of your business… You can concern yourself with your own online activities.
