  1. No. That’s incorrect. Soldiers from the mining areas of North America were very well fed, due to the widespread presence of agricultural and access to farms. So actually quite the opposite is true.

  2.  @Daniel-mw7pu False. Soldiers during ww2 had come from areas where they were very well fed, again due to the prevalence of agriculture in 20th century America
