Mate the coalition forces of NATO lost less forces in 10 years then Russia did in 10 days.
24
God a lot of people are trying to suck off this helicopter in the comments. This was made to fight in highly contested airspace, but it failed. It has failed harder then the supposedly terrible a-10, in it's entire operational history. Remember that NATO flights in Iraq was in high manpad dense areas, and that didn't stop the Apache and tiger.
8
Remember everyone, if a TB-2 just flies over head of a buk, panshir, or tunguska it has to activate to intercept it. And a mig armed with harms 150 miles away now has a juice target, or the TB-2 carring brimstones does.
8
You know what the Russia fear when they try to down play it.
8
Ukraine is literally using the same make aircraft and tanks. The mig 29 and su-27 you see fighting over Ukraine are exactly the same Iraq's. Only difference is Ukraine's fight pilots are green while the Iraqi airforce had fought Israel, iran, and NATO states. Oh and the Iraq air force was far larger compared to Ukraine when taking into scale against its combatants.
8
That fact they ordered more says otherwise. Also when actually used properly and integrated with proper fire control radar like giraffe. Ask the uae how effective it is. And ask Turkey how useless s-400 is
6
The Greeks, Bulgarians, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Pakistan, Egypt have stocks of ammunition of Chinese and Soviet production that can be integrated into s-300.
6
Not really giving that NATO fought iraq which had more igla s and strela three then Ukraine did at the start of the war.
6
These babies are also cheaper, costing about half that of the m30/31 to manufacture.
6
Though this alone won't win the war in Ukraine, it will help them from losing.
5
So they could blow themselves up again? More plj rockets landed in gaza then hit a actual target in Israel
5
Literally nothing you said is true. But then again you are Russian, so that is to expected
5
It was, but that fell through.
4
Is that why luhansk was hit today
4
The Russian army has been suffering higher casualties to artillery fire then the Ukrainian army has in these offensives
4
The m41 would like a word.
4
And America and Europe helping Ukraine retake this from Russia is hurting Europe how? If anything this will help the EU to become self sufficient from Russian in the long term.
4
He is low balling the number, as it closer to 80+ ka-52 and mi-28. That is only counting what can be proven via identifying numbers of the wreckage and video of the shooting down.
3
What kind of drugs are you on? Ukraine has had maybe 35,000 dead guessing by the gravy yards, but Russia is close to 91,000. Russia is no bear, just the sick man of Europe
3
@txorimorea3869 Russia is using human wave tactics with predictable consequences. I think you are mistaken on who is the "cannon fodder" in this fight
3
Did you learn nothing from the Iran Iraq war or the Vietnam war. If the nation is willing to fight and has the supplies to do so it will. Over a million nva solider died in 10 years of war with the USA, not counting civilians just soliders. There was not a building standing in north Korea when America bombed it for three year, yet they still live on. Iran was only getting supplied from North Korea, but pushed the Iraqi army out after 3 years of heavy fighting and about 300 thousand dead. War is won when and only when one side can no longer fight, and that is far from the truth for both sides right now.
3
They have recieved giraffe radars as confirmed last week
3
They did in 1973, they returned to Cuba as cargo 200
3
@janneman7710 Azerbaijan, Greece, Bulgaria, Egypt, and Turkey for s-300 not counting iranian, Indian or Chinese copies that have been purchased under the table. We have visual conformation of Jordanian osa missiles, Iraqi strela 10s, and Chinese hq-17/tor (Pakistani origins) ammo in Ukrainian service.
3
You kinda just forgot Taiwanese military large cruise missile stockpile
3
Most of the Warsaw pact was more then happy to throw off the Soviet youk. With Poland and Ukraine being the most likely to launch partisan actions.
3
I feel like the Ukrainian army would benefit by having a packs of avenger, stormer, or strela 10 traveling with the himars to increase air defense.
3
Honestly if they are planning anything they need to get those 5th gens up to stands. The us and India can track them with 90s radars
2
@Daniel-jq4qk bullshit, if the Israeli airforce has shown anything in Syria, it is that a harm can and will kill any Russian air defense system. Or did you think the sdf was destroying those Tor and buks of the Syrian expeditionary force?
2
@Daniel-jq4qk the gulf war and Yugoslavian wars would disagree with that statement.
2
Probably going to be the m1a1m, m1a1 aim, or m1a2 Saudi export variants sent. As they already have factory set up to build them and don't have any tech we are worried to lose.
2
Bull shit, you can't just kill Bosnian and Kosovon people in a active genocide and act like the victim we you get hit squar in the jaw.
2
@ivannesinozh9889 basically Ukraine has to out last Russia in a war of attrition. Every tank, gun, or man lost by Russia will make the war that more costly. This war is basically a repeat of the Iran Iraq war.
2
@jeffreyexposito3803 the E isn't the fighter version, it's the bomber.
2
You were actively committing genocide, we stomped your shit in and you are still but hurt about it.
2
The leak was based on November, a later leak suggested that that concern has faded away
2
@Gstyle1 better than Russia smoker's
2
German army had panzer 1, 2, 3, 35t, 38t, and polish tanks when they invade France. So logistic night yes, but not something impossible to maintain.
1
From satellite images, they have done a great job at rendering them useless for Russia.
1
@Daniel-jq4qk really? Because last I checked the poor performance of the buk and tor was noted by Armenians in 2020, and Russia in 2018 when Turkish, American, British, and Israeli fighters would strike deep into Russian controlled airspace and laugh off Russia expeditionary force aa like it was rain. Remember that iraq had these systems in the gulf war, were NATO forces using outdated f-4 and a-4s to hunt them. I know this because this is the job of my branch. Clear the sky and ground so that cas missions can be launched to support forward ground elements.
1
@Daniel-jq4qk yeah that is not that big of a issue when the buk systems are from the 80s and the tor is about the same age in tech.
1
And not all himars are on the south, only about three are on the kherason front from what I can get
1
China is the third or fourth largest arms dealer in the world, competing with France for third place. They have and will always be a arms dealer, I mean the Chinese army has a private sector just to sell weapons to fund the army every year. Have you never wondered why ISIS and Myanmar rebels get fn6 manpads in the last few years? They aren't captured or licensed versions, they came straight from Chinese arms factories.
1
@jamil19 we won iraq, lost Afghanistan.
1
And still won, because they didn't act like idiots and send them into manpad country.
1
Yeah, though the west sent modernized m-55s
1
That was put in place during the 70s, and change mid 80s.
1
@Skill_Issued Russians have a equivalent to nlaws that the iraqi army used, and they did nothing to leopard or abrahams. Because the nato state tanks don't literally have cardboard in their armor.
1
@ZioStalin yeah, and only lost 3000 troops total over 20 years. They cleared the skies in 2 days, and burn their tank force in a weak. also iraq is not that small it is the size of German or Poland, or about half of Ukraine.
1
@Skill_Issued you never been to southern Iraq during the spring have you, because it is nothing but mub do to the early spring rains that flood the rivers.
