  1. Because the Soviets ended being one of the two winners of WW2. Why? Because the US helped a lot with weapons and other equipment. Monumental mistake of the century! If the Soviets hadn’t been artificially propped up, Communism would have been over, destroyed by the Nazis… and Germany would have collapsed shortly afterwards, anyway.
