  1. The Prussians were brilliant at diplomacy until Wilhelm II took over (and Bismarck was gone). They were still pretty good at it but they failed to protect themselves enough against a Franco-Russian alliance. All the rest is projection in your behalf.

  4. The only good reason I can see for tearing down his statues is that his first Unification War (against Denmark) was incredibly unjust. He fought hard against Germany having colonies, btw.
