@robrob9050 Vexler is overrated, too. Most analysts are, however few so much as Mearsheimer and Chomsky. Vexler is much better than those two.

@jeffbenton6183 Asia starts with Anatolia (Asia Minor = little Asia). That’s the Near East. The Middle East is beyond that … and then it turned out that Asia was much bigger than anyone had thought.

@rangda_prime I think they have received much more winter clothes/boots from China this time around. I don’t think we’ll see sluggish Russians staggering around due to the cold like we did last winter.

Mandela was not all he was hyped up to be. The man was a terrorist who had had many innocent civilians killed. That’s why he was imprisoned, not because he “was against apartheid”. His wife, Winnie, ran a brutal crime organization that killed lots of blacks by “necklacing”: putting a tire with some petrol in it around their necks and then setting the petrol on fire. ANC’s rule has been one disappointment after another, with lots of lazy/incompetent blacks forced into all organizations from top to bottom, often with management responsibility over the whites who do all the work. South Africa’s infrastructure is falling apart.
